Equipment Rental Agreement and Terms of Service

Welcome to Mitten Moving Tote Co. LLC. By accessing or using our website (mittentotes.com) or booking a rental through our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service.

NOTICE: Michigan law establishes rights and obligations for parties to rental agreements. This agreement is required to comply with the Truth in Renting Act. If you have a question about the interpretation or legality of a provision of this agreement, you may want to seek assistance from a lawyer or other qualified person.

1. THE PARTIES AND EQUIPMENT

This Equipment Rental Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by and between Mitten Moving Tote Co. LLC ("Owner") and the individual or entity executing this document online or via signature ("Renter"). Owner hereby leases to Renter, and Renter hereby rents, the heavy-duty plastic moving totes, dollies, and optional rental add-ons (collectively, the "Equipment") specified in the approved booking request.

Renter agrees to pay the base rental package rate corresponding to their selected tier at the time of reservation. If Equipment needs to be kept beyond the standard 2-week rental period, Renter will automatically be billed weekly extension charges at the following rates:

5. DAMAGED, DIRTY, OR UNRETURNED EQUIPMENT

Renter assumes all risk of loss, theft, destruction, or damage to the Equipment from any cause whatsoever while in their possession.

7. PAYMENT METHOD & AUTHORIZATION

Renter must provide a valid credit card at checkout to lock in their booking. Renter explicitly authorizes Mitten Moving Tote Co. LLC to securely keep this credit card on file for the duration of the rental loop and to charge it for any valid extension fees, cleaning fees, unreturned equipment values, or damage penalties incurred under the terms of this contract.

This Agreement shall be construed, interpreted, and governed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan. If any individual clause or provision of this Agreement is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the validity and enforceability of all remaining structural clauses shall remain entirely unaffected.

BY COMPLETING THE BOOKING REQUEST AND ACCEPTING DELIVERY, THE RENTER ACKNOWLEDGES THEY HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND EXPLICITLY AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OUTLINED IN THIS MICHIGAN EQUIPMENT RENTAL CONTRACT.
